This is an exciting week for many parents as they drop their kids off for their first week back to school. We know how busy moms can be and how hard it is sometimes to send your kids to school with healthy lunches. So, we have come up with a few simple and healthy meals that you can make in less then a few minutes in the morning using leftovers from other meals.
Lunchbox #1: Soups with rotisserie chicken meat in a small insulated container. Add a bottle of water and sliced mandarin oranges for a side.
Lunchbox #3: Leftover roasted veggies with goat cheese and pesto sauce added in mini pita wrap.
Lunchbox #4: Rotisserie chicken salad with celery, grapes, lettuce, and tomato. You can add dehydrated apples or bananas as your side with this and a juice carton.
Lunchbox #5: Rotisserie chicken pizza with a side of a few sliced cucumbers with hummus on top and 1/2 cup of grapes.
The best snack to have in the car when you pick up your kids is anything dehydrated. These are healthy snacks on-the-go and easy for moms to toss into a plastic baggy and head out the door.
