We love creating our own menu when entertaining friends and family for parties. What better day to do this then on the Fourth of July! Kick off your 4th of July party with some of our simple, summery bites that will leave your guests wanting to have more!
- Roasted Cherry Tomatoes with feta and fresh basil– This already makes our mouth water. All you need to do is cut the tomatoes in half, roast them on the kabob rods in your rotisserie or even toss them in your rotisserie basket. Take them out and stuff them with fresh basil and feta cheese.
- Zucchini Chips– cut the zucchini into thin slices; toss them in olive oil and fresh chopped lemon thyme. Dehydrate for 3-4 hours or until brittle. Then spread some goat cheese on top for a great party snack!
- Dehydrated Veggies with Sesame Seeds– you should cut up 1/2 cup for each party guest of red bell peppers, zucchini, red onion, mushroom, and any other veggie of your choice. Whisk together 2tb olive oil, 1tb sesame oil, 1tb lemon juice and then toss the chopped up veggies in this to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Lay the veggies on the dehydrator trays and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Dehydrate for 3-4 hours.
- Honey & Lime Chicken Kabobs-Mix in a large bowl 2tb honey, 1tb olive oil, 1 freshly squeezed lime, 1tsp minced garlic, 1tsp chopped cilantro. Cut up 4 large skinless, boneless, chicken breasts and marinate in the mix for 30 minutes. Then thread the chicken on your kabob rods and roast for 30 minutes.
